I'm mentally ill and currently seeking the help i need for that. I have severe case of agoraphobia and depression. i am not able to work at this moment and i am on govertment assistance but that does not cover my full rent payment. I rent a room at $450 a month and my assistance is only $339. I have looked for cheaper rooms but to no avail. I need help with remaining rent balance.

I found out I have Chronic Hep C at stage 3. My Drs. advised me to go on disability, which I did. It seems that I am getting deaper and deaper into money problems since my cobra insurance stopped. My medications are expensive. Most of them are for mental health issues which have become worse over the last few years. I did 14 months of Hep C standard treatment which was grueling and did not work.

I need help financially for medications, food and to weatherize my home. I have a 19 year old son in college who eats like a horse and a daughter that is 16. I was hospitalized recently because I have become suicidal since I can see no end in sight.

 Please help me!

I have a 41 year old son who is mentally ill.  He was diagnosed in 2003 and is finally receiving SS benefits.  It took 4 years to go through all the hoops to get that.  Now that he is receiving benefits and services, he is making good progress.  He would like to go to college.  I thought Social Security provided some assistance for education but I can't find any information about it.  Since he also qualifies for SSDI there should be something out there.  Does anyone know who I can contact or where I can go to find out about financial assistance for him?
